  • We're looking for a hardworking Writer who understands technology and can contribute to marketing and sales-based copywriting as well as the production of user-focused training guides with a curious mind and a servant’s heart.

  • We're looking for someone that is self-motivated and doesn't require coddling or micro-management to go above and beyond.

  • We’re looking for someone who has experience writing sales copy, whitepapers and case studies for technical services and products that target Marketing and IT decision makers at enterprise sized companies.


  • Develop and own the communications strategy for the services side of our business as well as a software product that we are currently launching. You will be shaping and honing our messaging and marketing strategy to target specific verticals, which include:

    • Healthcare

    • Banking

    • Insurance

    • Manufacturing

    • Consumer products

    • And others

  • Interview and collaborate with multiple teams within the company, including developers, leadership, SMEs and the marketing team, to extract the information, terminology, perspectives and feedback needed to create compelling messaging and content.

  • Listen in on sales calls to better understand customer pain points and common problems.

  • Write compelling copy that conveys to prospects and clients that we truly understand their pain points and that our services and products will be able to solve their problems.

  • Ensure that sales and marketing communication and messaging are consistent throughout the organization, from sales email scripts, to website copy, to print collateral, to trade show booths.

  • Write informative and persuasive content for consumption by C-Suite executives, upper management decision makers and influencers at enterprise companies. The types of content you will be writing include:

    • Website content

    • Case studies

    • Email scripts

    • Email marketing campaigns

    • Sales collateral and booth messaging 

    • Blog posts

  • Write training guides for completed development projects to help end users understand how to create content


  • 5+ years of copywriting, content development and marketing experience

  • Verifiable expertise in sales copywriting and content creation. Examples will be requested.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to extract information from others

  • Impeccable writing skills with a mix of art and marketing science

  • Strong attention to detail and an allergy to spelling and grammatical errors

  • Mastery of multiple copywriting formulas such as AIDA and PAS

  • A deep understanding of the type and format of content and copy that work in various channels

  • Ability to transform complex topics into simple, easy to understand narratives

  • Proficiency with GSuite tools and Microsoft Office

This position is located in 78749 Southwest Austin Texas and is on-site only. At Engagency, we believe that people do their best work when they have a team of people to collaborate and coordinate with, in person.
